Neat little cars! They only came in automatics from the factory. There are quite a few in Canada, especially on the West Coast. They sell for cheap in Japan, usually, but their prices are going up for good ones. Probably looking at $8-$12K Canadian I’d think if you were buying one that was already over here? Cheaper if you were getting an import company to bring one over for you from Japan.
They were based on the Nissan March/Mirca of that time period.
Try TradeCarView or GooNetExchange if you were looking at prices in Japan that an agent could import for you. :)
There are a few mint ones on TradeCarView for $14-20K CAD, but there are many in decent shape for $1500-$6K with higher kms.
If you watch MightyCarMods at all, they had a race with one a few seasons back! :)

These go for between 6 and 12K euros over here in Euroland. It’s cute personally I’d prefer a Pao.

My dad actually has been looking for one for a while, but it’ll probably be delayed by our garage. They are pretty cool cars.

I’d rather have a Pao. Both of them sold out immediately in Japan and they are still all over.

this one’s nice, 86 or so k. he’ll probably drive it for a bit, till the next cool car comes along. it’ll end up on kijiji sooner or later. located in western Canada, the other one in town is also grey. I believe it’s a 92, so forbidden fruit in america till next year.

I talked to a Figaro owner about a year ago and he said $10k should get you a good one. He brought his to Ontario from Vancouver.

thanks, I’ll pass it on. I’m sure he got it drrty cheap. He sold me a 65 4 barrel, 4 speed, red on black mustang coupe for like $1100 once upon a time, wasn’t any good, but still a good deal ( in car logic). still have Tranny pedals and really nice seats from said car gathering dust.

Your guess is as good as mine, really. We’re sort of in limbo until the new owners make some sort of announcement on the longer term future of the sites they’ve bought as well as the Kinja platform they’re built on. If they choose to keep Kinja alive, the user-run group blogs like this should be safe. If not and either way, it’ll probably be a few months before such news starts to emerge and things begin to happen anyway.
